Thank you so much to parents for their help in last week’s bake sale. We made $230 for the Red Cross fire efforts in Brandon. The students found unanimously that it was the charity most needing our money.

Secondly, another thank you to parents for getting all the Invite Right information and money($36) finished up early. The rest of the year will be easier for students, parents, and teachers to handle! lol

Thirdly, our Ag Day permission slips were sent home yesterday and must be signed and handed back in asap. We go to Neepawa next Thursday (June 7th).

Lastly, at some point soon, a form will be going home with those students who qualified for Track and Field Divisionals down in Neepawa on Friday, June 8th. It will be $5 for the bus. We will need the money with the signed permission slip returned to the school before the date. For those who are not going to Neepawa on that date, they get to help out with the RJ Waugh tabloid meet scheduled for the same day. Either way, sounds like a great opportunity for a student.

One month to go! Students have been doing very well. Great efforts!

Just a little note about a couple events that are coming up. We had Paint Day today in the morning. It was fantastic and what little artists! lol($6) In June, we will be swimming 4 times at the local pool.($8)

June 14 – 2:15 – 3:15

June 22 – 1:00 – 2:15

We have the Eden Run on Friday, May 25. We have our middle school track meet in Neepawa on Wednesday, June 6th. ($0) We have Farm or Ag Day in Neepawa on Thursday, June 7th ($0) We have our field trip to the Manitoba Museum on Monday, June 25th. ($15 for event and $7 for bus)

As you have noticed, the school was nice enough to pick up the cost for buses getting us to Ag Day and Middle Years’ Track Meet.

Total cost for all of these events is $36. Not too bad for everything that we have included. There is now an Invite Right tab to sign up for everything. “6Clark Field Trip”. Some addition times and particulars are on the Invite Right form. We hope this will make it easier for parents by not nickle and “dimeing”(sic) you all for little amounts every couple of days.

The only other small costs would be if your child qualifies to go to the Eden Run on Friday, May 25th and the Divisional Track Meet in Neepawa on Friday, June 8th.
